This work has now been realized with the fib Model Code for Concrete Structures 2010. Earlier Model Codes from the fib’s parent organizations were published as CEB-FIP Model Codes 1978 and 1990. The objectives of the fib Model Code for Concrete Structures 2010 are to (a) serve as a basis for future codes for concrete structures, and (b)present new developments with regard to concrete structures, related structural materials and new ideas in order to achieve optimum behaviour. fib Model Code for Concrete Structures 2010 provides an extraordinary contribution to the advancement of knowledge and technical developments in the field of design andassessment of concrete structures.
